    RC Alloy wheels

Well it's taken me an age to get here, but I have finally used the machinery to make something saleable! These still need a polish, but I thought I would share them with you all. Anyone else got any alloys to show off?

What equipment did you use? Software, lathe, mill, controllers etc.

Thanks Paul, but due to the strong pound at the moment, I don't htink I would get much by exporting them
Pdevey, I used my homemade cnc-router to cut the spokes after they were turned on my own BV20m cnc converted lathe. I use Dolphin cad/cam to provide the g-code for both machines, and Mach2 as the control software. Hoep this helps. I will run some more batches in the New Year, and can get some machining photos then

I am glad I'm not the only one that wants to remanufacture rc parts. I was showing my kids what I want "Santa" to get me for christmas the other day and that I would re-make most of the parts myself. The guy behind the counter pipes up and sid that that has allready been done. I guess these guys miss the point. The probably are the tye that also buy "ARF" planes. Kong, way cool wheels!

I know this thread is older than dirt, but I'm just now getting the hang of posting pics. I made a wheel a while ago, just for the hell of it. It doesn't fit anything but I thought it came out ok.
btw I love those wheels you made Kong...... well here's my one and only.

    Cool

Hi all. This is my first post on this forum. After scanning the various sub-forums here, this one caught me eye, 'cuz, I too, make parts for RC vehicles, not to mention complete vehicles:

    Nice looking stuff!

How about a detailed desription on those diffs and CVs? They look well proportioned.

I think we need more pics...
