Hi,
I've created a website aimed at personal fabrication as advocated by Neil Gershenfeld. A user may adjust a (2D) design to his liking before instantiation. A more experienced (web) programmer may even program his/her own templates and embed javascript functions to do inline calculation on endpoints, angles curves etc.
It is all open source and you can download the source from code.google.com.
Currently I have 2 major issues: it is apparently not very appealing as nobody is using it, and the only output is svg (still a big no no in the cnc world). Ideally an online dxf export would be great, but an external svg2dxf converter would also be great. Inkscape's dxf2svg is not really doing what I want.
I hope to hear some thoughts on how to make it more appealing and whether it would be possible to implement an online svg2dxf converter.
cheers,
Jeroen.
