How can you ask the F-Engrave program to cut the same pattern more than once if you want to cut deeper than one cut will normally allow

F-Engrave does not have a built in function for doing multi-pass cuts (yet?). If you need to take preliminary cuts the best way to do it is to set your Z zero position above your stock and run the full program (you will get some air cuts). Repeat as many times as required (while decreasing the Z zero height above the stock) until the Z zero position is at the top of your stock material.

Some machine controllers such as LinuxCNC offer variables and so forth in GCode programs.
So you can setup how many times the program repeats, and each time it repeats the Z variable is "Z=Z-0.1" or whatever

The latest Version of F-Engrave V1.45 has multipass cutting for v-carving. The settings for multipass cutting are in the V-Carve Settings:
Finish Pass Stock is the amount of material that will be removed on the last pass
Max Depth per Pass is the maximum depth of material that can be removed in one cut.
