Index of OpenSource CAD/CAM software
Is there such a thing? Since I've gotten my Shapeoko (opensource hobby-level CNC machine, Shapeoko | Precision by DefaultShapeoko | Precision by Default ), I've been compiling all the software I can at:
Software - ShapeOko
(NB - some commercial stuff is inter-mixed)
and would be very interested in:
- software I missed
- any other information I should add (best uses / limitations, &c.)
Please add any suggestions you might have here and I'll get it added.
Thanks!

I don't think it is all open source - but a nice list on linuxcnc's wiki

Thanks! I went through that and tried to add everything useful / interesting.
If there was something I didn't add which you think is useful / interesting, I'd be glad of your comments.

Since then, the commercial software and license-limited freeware (e.g., SketchUp Make 2013) has been placed on its own page.
I'd still be very interested in suggestions for software --- I've been struggling w/ OpenSCAD, and while drawing up a machinist's square was quite straight-forward, I've been stymied by by how to extrude a hexagon for a set of Allen wrenches.
