I am considering using the Infineon BTN7970 as the power stage of a stepper motor controller. Does anyone have any experence using this device? One specific question I have is can it be used with a 28 volt power supply? The data sheet is unclear as to which patameters change when using a supply greater than 18 volts. I plan to use an arm7 processor to drive the bridge with pwm. I hope to use the integal current sense output fed into the micro analog to digital converter to control the current. |
