Only say that microchip in application notes AN822 make public code and schematic of an driver with microstepping and L298. I am asking if will be cheaper Alans picstep driver with 2 LM18245 or microchip driver board with an L298 Comments Thanks in advance |

I think you don't need to use the LM18245 in Alan's or similar boards if you don't want to microstep. :-) Yoram |

?? Are we talking about AN822 fom Microchip? Title; Stepper Motor Microstepping with PIC18C452? this specifically drives steppers..... It's limited to the capacity of the l298 as far as motor V and A are concerned. Alans Picstep is a simpler, better and more powerful solution I think.. and it also does microstepping |
