Hi, I have developed some code on atmega8. It is a bipolar stepper motor driving chip. The inputs are step and dir signals from pc parallel port and drive the motor with microstepping capability. (full 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32 can be more) It produces two pwm signals from a lookup table. (sine cos wave signals) Two lmd18200 h-bridge chips handle the power side. My question is how to code the over current issue. I read the voltage with two sense resistors from the cur_sense pin of lmd18200s. These are sine cosine voltages. What will I do with these voltages?
