| I'm loooking in internet for IC for stepepr motor driver. For low power i use chip from Allegro A3977. Now i need more voltage and power. For me is interesting 50 V or more and 3A per phase. And of course CLK/DIR input (not spi ...) on internet i found this solution: Allegro A3977 Trinamic TMC239 AND TMC401 http://www.trinamic.com/tmc/render.php?sess_pid=290 http://www.trinamic.com/tmc/render.php?sess_pid=378 Any other solution? | It's been a while since you made this post, but I'm wondering if you ever tried the Trinamic???? ![]() I've been trying to get one of the stepper drives, TCMC-078 or IDX-7505. These are 7amp and 5 amp drives. The actual motor chip TMC239 is something I would like to design around. Unfortunately I don't have time to layout another board. The Allegro A3986 is driving me nuts... I must get away from it. |
