hello all, I recently finished my stepper controller.i used reprap stepper controller(combo of l297+l298).it worked very well. but not up to the level.the motor buzzes a lot and get hot after running for 15mins.(when i run the motor below its rated current,it ran cool but at the cost of torque). so i came across on the internet, that running the motor at micro stepping lower the buzzing and heat generation. so i found linistepper and picstep are the best and cheap drivers to go with.so i need some feedback from who build these controllers. my main purpose of the building this controller is low noise and less heat generation in motor. *my motor are rated 4v @0.95A (some thing like below post) http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45230 pls help me. thanks and regards |
