ِA Question about 3-Axis PIC12C508A Stepper Driver

Hi
I am trying to build this driver :
http://www.pminmo.com/3axisPIC/3axisPIC.htm

I bought PIC12C508 microcontrollers since the 508A MCUs are not available in our local markets. But the 508 could not be programmed with the given PIC code
http://www.pminmo.com/3axisPIC/3axisPIC.zip

I need to know if i could use the PIC12C508 instead of PIC12C508A in this project and what changes should be made to the code so that I can use the PIC12C508 ?

Thank you,
waleed alhadidi

Several of the 12F PICs in 8 pin dips are also compatable.

Hi :
I program the 12c508 and 12c508a the same way, there is no difference, please tell me the programmer you are using.
I took the PIC to a local shop who tried to program it , but i don't know what he used to program it . So I would be very grateful if you could show me a programmer circuit to build it and program the PIC . THank you Daremen .

Several of the 12F PICs in 8 pin dips are also compatable.
Could you please tell me what PICs are compatible with this one to see if they are available locally here. And what changes (if any) should i make to the program or the circuit for the compatible PIC ?
Thank you all for your responses,
waleed alhadidi.
