Hello, i need a opto-isolated parallel port breakout board, i have searched all the forum topics about diy bobs and decided to make a buffered one because of the speed and cable distance issues. I saw that so many bobs using schmitt trigger hex inverter ic's for buffering. what are the advantages using inverter ic's instead of non-inverting version ic's? Why we need this? can someone explain me please? |
