I've purchased a controller card for my project along with the required stepper motors, now I need help with the power supply. The schematic supplied suggests the use of 2 ATX computer power supplies to supply the regulated 5 vdc. for the card and the 12 vdc. from the 2 power supplies to operate the motor, limit switches and the relays. My question is, what would it require to accomplish this with 5 vdc. to run the controller, 12 vdc. for the assorted switches and relays and 48 vdc. to run the stepper motors?
