    New Idea for making controllers.

We all know that a typical printer has servo + stepper motor with microstep function.
I opened some of them up and they have Allegro chips or some type of motor controller.

Has anyone done or tried to reverse engineer or make a mod for a regular printer PCB to work on CNC machines?

With all the brain power and geniuses in here, I bet we can make a board using the chips from a regular printer.
