Microstepping An822

Has anybody built and tested the device from the Application Note 822 from Microchip (AN822).

If you are still around..... did you ever get a chance to build this circuit and test it?

I am chaging the code to use IRQ's for the step/direction inputs to make sure it does not miss any steps, and remove all the RS232 parts/code.

I did not finish changing the code. While busy with the code I noticed that the code does not look at the current feedback lines going to the ADC so the code will either need an almost complete re-write or you will have to use current limit resistors on the motor wires to limit the current.
I decided to rather go for a hobycnc driver... you get a proven design for a lot less effort and almost the same money as doing it DIY.
