Please forgive the ignorance. I am trying to understand what I am reading on your site.

3 or 4 drivers means drives X # of motors. But what is interface? Is that # of computer connections? Or do I need something else to connect there that then connect to computer?

I am not to familiar with stepper motors. But I have 3 of these:
MANUFACTURER: ASTROSYN
MODEL: L 211
DIMENSION / DESCRIPTION: SHAFT DIA.= .250", 2.25 VOLT, 1.5 OHM, 1.8 DEGREE 1.5 AMP, 8 WIRE

Not sure what I need to control them. I want to learn how to build my own controller. So been looking at your site.
