Anybody interested in developing a microsteppping drive using the L6506 and L298 ICs from ST? In the Application Note AN1495 from ST they state that this is possible by using a microprocessor to define the independent Vrefs of the two windings (As I understood) (I´m not the expert :-) I mean the microstepping is the part of the device that has to be developed..Using a PIC?? the link to the App. Note: http://www.st.com/stonline/products/...re/an/8700.pdf Enjoy Alex |
