I am NOT a CMM expert but I have had luck in fixing some machines. To do this, you need to apply some logic and problem solving skills.
1. Consult the user manual. See if they explain that sort of problem and its possible causes.
2. See if the probe is bad ( you say it works on other machine). Maybe this is not the issue.
3. Check wiring diagram. Make sure any limit switches are working properly.
4. Did anything happen recently?? IE: power surge, power outage, some problem that you affect that computer that runs the machine.
5. Check cables. Poor connections cause all kinds of problems.
6. If you have exhausted the simple, obvious fixes, you may have a more serious issue that only a factory service guy can can fix. They may not be readily available in Pakistan but that may be your only option.
7. A call to the factory may yield surprising results.
If you have NO documentation, and NO factory contact capabilities, and NO access to factory service, you may NOT be able to fix the machine.
Sadly, not all problems can be solved by looking it up on the internet.... |
