Hi, first of all, sorry for my bad english. I´ve decided built a L297-8 Axis Stepper driver withy a 4 axis BOB. The problem is that I dont understand how to wiring both . Whats is JP1, JP2, Jp3 and Jp4 in L-297-8. How I get to connect to obtain de dir, step signal from LPT?. Thanks. Alberto |

| Which OEM application sheet are you looking at for L287-8??? There are several pins that can provide step and direction from LPT port. Which one to use depends on software coding. See "Real-World Interfacing with your PC" ISBN 0-7906-1145-7 for more information. Driving by parallel port is not a "universal, one thing does all" sort of deal.
