Take a look at the DIY servo thread. It's a good project, but I believe the kits cost the same as a ready made Geckodrive servo, so take a look at both.

Has anyone put together a kit for the UHU servo controller?

I think I may well get one preassembled board to use as a 'diagram' of how to make 2 more of my own (using locally sourced components)
