I have a Bridgeport Series II Interact 2 mill. While it looks to be in a decent condition, the Heidenhain monitor does not work and I want to convert it to EMC2 under GNU/Linux. My question is what is the most straightforward way to do so, in your experience. I did see some webpages about it, and at this point think that using Mesa cards is the ticket, however I am very open to opposing viewpoints.
