Is this normal? I included a Video

Hi,Sorry for my ignorance in this matter I just was playing with the sofware mach3 and the motor setup and I found this (check the link with the video):

when I do step by step motor moves, everthing is fine, but when I want to do a long run the motor do the normal sound but the thing get stuck, is this normal? Do I need to do something in the software? Maybe that's why are called step motors

drop your velocity in the motor tuning drop the accel as well , it sounds like its set too high , best thing to do is start at the bottom and tune up to the most optimal speed before you start loosing torque

Set velocity and acceleration in "Motor Tuning" which is found under the "Config" menu
