well I got building a little at a time, I got the y and x axis done, I had started building after the jgro design, but modified it a little, and had the side gantry's done, but split the mdf rushing to get the bottom plate on, so i made two new pieces and routed in the L angle so far i only used 2- 2 x 4 mdf 3/4" sheets, 1-4' peice of L angle and some bolts all together about 120 dollars, I used dado's for some of my joints, working on uploading some pics... any suggestions on stepper motors and controllers kits, i will be using my dremel or roto zip for the router... does anyone have a list of links where you bought kits from... ?? |

| I would look at these, For that size I think they would be right on. http://www.hobbycnc.com/products/stepper-motors/ Look at the 285 oz ones |

| Nice build there, I have started mine and will be getting the X axis done tomorrow or the next day but that looks a nice machine and I wish I had gone the angle and skate bearing approach rather than the oilite rout very unforgiving. What will you use your machine for ? |
