I'm looking at the 1/2-10 5 start screws. Does it matter if you use the standard steel black or stainless? The enviroment is a very dry one so rust should not be an issue.

no need to use stainless...just use standard stell black.. you have to keep it wet through oil or any frictionless compound.. i am using MolyKote and it works great preventing rust and driving nut like a knife in butter

You mentioned MolyKote, Dow Corning makes several different products that fall under the MolyKote name. Could you tell me which one you are using and where it can be purchased?
