    Choppers VS Limiting Resistors

    Hello,

Running limiting resistors on my steppers. Thinking about building a chopper circuit for them. Will I see much of a performance increase or is it not that big of an improvement?

    Thanks.

No perfornance increase if all things are equal. You will need less power supply current.
Phil, Still too many interests, too many projects, and not enough time!!!!!!!!

    Hey Phil Thanks,

Running the 3 axis stepper board I got from your site! Been over a year and still going strong! Never had a failure or problem! Thanks for that to!
