I'm very new to cnc. Does anyone have any feedback on this cnc. http://cgi.ebay.com/CNC-Router-Engra...QQcmdZViewItem I'm looking to cut G10, foam, arrow shafts, and possibly aluminum. All very thin under eighth of an inch. Mostly RC hobby stuff. I don't expect the .000125 he claims. Thanks, Ufly |

| Looks like a nice little machine to me. I saw a machine that looks almost identical at a Rockler store last weekend. Same materials as well. It's cutting was very accurate. Not sure about the aluminum, but even if you get 1/100th in aluminum, that's pretty good for a HDPE machine. I'm planning on building a cnc router eventually, and mine will be out of aluminum for more rigidity. Wade |

| The picture in the listing showing it engraving aluminum is not a router or rotozip spindle. It looks like an X2 spindle. I'm sure you could mount one, but that would be a lot of weight added to a plastic machine. I would at least shoot for one made of aluminum and better yet steel or a combination of both.

| Thanks guys. At the moment I don't need to cut aluminum I was just wondering if it would. I'm surprized there isn't any other info on cnczone for this particular seller / machine. This one if made out of metal. For about 2000. Since Aluminum isn't that important I'll probably stick with the plastic machine. http://cgi.ebay.com/CNC-Router-Milli...em120226447683 As far as software and help goes the first seller seems better. In general how does a plastic machine compare to wood/ mdf machine? Ufly |

| The advertised resolution is the calculated resolution of the drive components in the ideal world and it has no allowance for flexing or free play in the mechanical parts. You will not see anything like that number in the real world accuracy of the machine. Ask the seller about the real world cutting accuracy that the machine typically will do in materials that you would expect to cut. CarveOne
