My plans

My plans are to make a cheap hardware store cnc mill and use it to make a lathe, so I can make custom paintball gun parts. Can anyone get started, or point me in the right direction?

Would it not be better to have a look round for a secondhand unimat pc or simlar?

How cheap do you think I can get one?

Not sure what they would go for stateside but ive seen them go for 400-500 pounds over here in the uk so $900? But i would think you would be looking at more like $1500 for something dencent. How much is a cheap cnc mill over there, the taig and microkinetics are about $2000 i think plus all the hassle of converting it if it can be done?
