DIY Servo Controller

Hey everyone, I am new to CNC zone, and first off I would like to apologise to the mods if I am in the wrong section, I tried searching but I am having difficulty finding a "relatively" simple DIY DC Servo controller to begin working on building a homemade CNC, where I am from large steppers are hard to find, and I am trying to build a 8' x 4' CNC for cutting plywood. any help would be great! thanks in advance.
