    Nema motor Power supply

The CNC unit i am building has Nema 34 stepper motors 879oz, The power supply included was a 24 volt unit rated at 15 amps.My question is there any advantage upgrading to a 36 volt power supply will this increase speed and torque of the stepper motors. Just curious thanks.

Increasing voltage has to be compatible with the drive unit you're using. If the drive unit is up for it then speed and torque would go up as well as acceleration and on the negative side the heating of the stepper. You have to ask yourself if you really need the added voltage to accomplish your task.
