Anyone have GRBL running on Arduino Nano?

I have GRBL running on an Arduino Nano 3 (in that I'm getting console responses as expected) but I'm not getting the pinout signals I expect.

Anyone using an Arduino Nano and if so, how it working out?

    Thanks RMHCNC for the reply.

What acceleration and speed settings do you use with your EasyDriver boards? I use them as well but can't get more than about 25 IPM from them at full step.

    Thanks again,

    Stephen

The G-code loader i use has a speed control setting on it, i just use that setting to control my speeds. load the NC file set my speed and off i go lol. I really dont know much yet when it comes to terms like ipm, inch per min ? The setting range is from 0 to 1000 though and i have easy smooth operation no matter the speed.
Im working on a video and should have it ready by the end of the night.

    Very cool.

Was wondering what you were writing.

    The suspense was killing me.

I almost skipped ahead to the end, but then I was afraid that I might miss something.

What kind of laser are you using?

What software did you use to drive it?

Did you completely DIY or did you follow some plans to build it?

It was a complete DIY Hardware wise but the software end was from a few net posts
The laser is a 1.5 watt 445 nm "blue" diode salvaged from a DLP projector
The laser driver is a simple lm317T ic
The G-code is created by Inkscape using a g-code plugin that creates NC files for Grbl
The g-code is streamed to the nano via a simple g-code loader over USB comport
Ty and hope that answered your questions
