Question Looking for DUST SHOE plans that will fit the FLA-100

    Hello all,

I am getting ready to make a dust shoe for the FLA-100 2x3 router table. I would like to find a set of proven plans to make this happen.

Anyone have the scoop on good options and avalible plans (Ready to cut files?) that will do the trick on the FLA-100?

    Thanks!

    Question Additional question...

Anyone know what the health risks to breathing in MDF and partical board dust are?

I would venture a guess thats its not good!

You will definitely want a dust mask and/or vaccuum for dust control. Both of these list MDF as a carcinogen (can cause cancer).

Dust shoes are typically specific to a router OR spindle and NOT to a machine design. Most shoes clamp directly to the body of the router OR spindle. You would have better results with your request if you post the make and model of your router OR spindle you're using on your FLA-100 .

Not sure why but it seems no one ever seems to post plans for a dust shoe.... I am laying one out in Auto Cad for my Hitachi which is on a FLA-100. I will post files once everything is done.

    Dust shue

I broke down and bought one from k2CNC.com that matches the hitachi mount I also purchased from them. That combined with the Harbor Freight 1hp dust colector should be all I need for this machine.

    Life is good!

I've been working on one, but it's not ready for prime-time yet:
