yes I really should... it's a work in progress..
[quote=levon18lopez;906770]schemitt triger is for home limit switch, can you show the wiring for this interface board from switch to board[QUOTE]
switches can be hooded up many differnt ways...
I have 3 home switches only, connected to pins 10, 11 , 12 of the parellel port, one for each axis. Each switch is conected to ground(pin 6 of IN connector) and the other end of the switchs to (1, 2, and 3 of the IN connector)
On the X,Y,Z,W connectors on the BOB board pin 3 is DIR, and pin 4 is STEP
The enable is on pin 1 of the X,YZ,W connectors it can be connected to ground by connecting jumper beween pins 1 and 2 of SV1, or by putting jumper between pins 2 and 3 of SV1 you can have the software control it by changing the state of pin 17 of the parallel port.
---- oops---- connecting pins 1 and 2 of SV1 will have no effect as the schematic is !!!.
Pin 1 of SV1 should be connected to 5v in the schematic not to ground... I will change that in future updates..
R1-R5 I'm going to use 1K resistors but anything between 1K to 100K should work..
Caps are .1 mfd for the ones by the power pins of the IC's.
C7 should be about 470mfd at a higher voltage than you plan to use for your motors.
C5 100mfd at 25 volts or so..
C6 10mfd at 16 volts
C4 .1 mfd
