It would depend on the type of material being cut and the type of tool being used.
I have been researching and designing my CNC router for some time now, but have questions about the maximum cutting force you can apply to the router itself without stalling or deflecting. I realize this varies with each router, but I have been looking at the 3.5 HP Porter Cable as an option. If anyone has any data or insight on the cutting forces you can apply, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
