Murray,
What happened to the thread on engraving??????
Ken
If you want to drill a bunch of holes, you may have noticed if you use just a simple select all to grab all the arc positions, that sometimes the actual rapid motions between holes can be helter-skelter all over the part. This has bugged me a little sometimes.
I discovered that if you patiently go through and select the hole positions one by one in the desired sequence, before you call up the NC manager, then you will get controlled rapids just as you laid out in your selection sequence.
Small thing perhaps, but it escaped my notice up til now

It was a thread opened yesterday by HUFLUNGDUNG about using cut-all or engraving in ONECNC.

My data base crashed early this morning and that probably was the thread that did it. I restored the DB this morining and that is probably why that thread is missing. So far the site has been working great, I have no idea why that happended, but I'm looking in to it.
Thank You,

Probably crashed because Bobcad was mentioned in a thread within the Onecnc forum. Even the names of those two programs can't get along in the same cyberspace.

Ithink I was the last who tried to write on that thread.
Might be helpful for you if I describe, what I did this morning.
I wrote a quoted post in that thread, and before i sent it, i changed my profile. Especially I gave my E-Mail free, because (I think it was Mortek?) could not send me a CAD-File without having my e-mail-adress.
When I tried to go back to the thread, I got the message that there should be a problem with the database etc.

P.S. I hope there was no mistake on my side.
Wow, just my luck that the engraving thread got AXED
I figured out Mortek's problem, and now I have no place to Brag about it.
By the way it's not a bug in OneCNC Mill2000, just a little ol setting.
Worst part I don't even get to score any points.:frown:

It was you post that did it, BUT it's not that you did anything wrong. It possible that my host provider and you did somthing at the exsact same time. The server was under allot of load and I belive that you post just when the server went down. So the thread ID was open and did'nt write to the DB and left it open to be corrupted.

What are the odds of that happening?
You couldn't do that on purpose, if you tried a thousand times.
But if your not trying, It'll happen ever time.

It was not server load from this site, it was from them the server itself.
