    OneCNC Lathe?

Anyone have any comments about OneCNC for lathes? We are looking for a package to do our milling and lathe work too.

    Hi AdvanTech,

Have you had the online demo from OneCNC tech support for the XR mill product? Its a shoo in if you dare to watch it.

OneCNC lathe for the XR series is still in development. We users are eagerly anticipating this new release because it will bring the convenience of the NC manager to lathe work. That means that it will make it far easier to remove, add or edit new processes in the midst of a new lathe program as you develop your machining strategy.

However, you can most likely demo the OneCNC lathe2003 software yet to get a first hand impression. It works fine, and is quite intuitive to make it work correctly and simulate properly.

The newest generation of the OneCNC XR software has quite a few powerful advantages. When OneCNC latheXR is ready, then I'll crow about it
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
