    BR,

Nothing new to report yet. It's still in the works, I hear. For now, the older product, OneCNC2003 is the only version providing 4th axis wrap capabilities, in combination with surface machining capabilities. I believe that OneCNC will provide this module to anyone who has the current Mill Expert product, and who needs to do some 4th axis machining right now. Simple indexing of a 4th axis is, of course, possible with custom code right now.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

Is the 4th axis a true 4x tool path or just axis substution? Like substitute Y axis with A axis post callouts.

Interesting terminology when I think about it: 4th axis wrap sounds like an afterthought.....sort of carrying a "second rate" connotation. But, wrap is when you really need a 4th axis card integrated into the control, because then you get to see those cool XA simultaneous movements.

Positional is like indexing, then applying brake and running any kind of toolpath on whatever surface is exposed to the tool. During this type of operation, you would have normal 3 linear axis tool motion, while A is locked.

"Live" is a finishing process, where a planar type toolpath (parallel to the indexer axis) is constructed, and the tool rides "stylus style" lengthwise down the part, back and forth, while the indexer indexes incrementally for each pass. No real simultaneous XA moves involved. No Y axis movement is used either, unless I never searched far enough into it, but I'm pretty sure this is how it is treated.
