What I would do is construct the wireframe profile as the outside shape of your part only. You only need to draw the profile once at one Z level.
Then, use "surface from curves" (from the Create surface menu) to turn this into a surface. Next, use Extrude surface (from the Create Solids menu) to turn this into a solid of the correct height.
Next make a cylinder using the cylinder function on the Create Solid menu. Position it correctly inside your first extruded part to act as a solid cutter. Then, use the "solid cutter" or "Difference" from the Operations menu to do the cutout.
Your original geometry is a little bit off, because the outer profile of the part does not extract as a complete chain all around. You'll need to watch that your trims and placements are geometrically tangent. Perfect is good![]()
