    Unhappy CUTTING OR TRIMMING SURFACES

    Hello,

Can anyone please help me on how to split a surface into two separate sufaces in ONECNC XR2 Professional, ie. where the surface crosses the plane or where two surfaces intercept each other and there are waste areas that need to trimmed away.
Any help would be appreciated as I am new to 3d surfaces.

    Regards Nogginkj

where the surface crosses the plane
Use "Split with Plane" if it is a solid and it will split it there..

If it is a surface> create a rectangular surface to merge with your surface.

"Merge" them together, then "split into surfaces" and discard what you don't want.

where two surfaces intercept each other
"Merge" them together, then use "split into surfaces" and discard what you don't need.
