| Extensive Tool data for OnecncXP For want of something better to do, I spent a few hours loading what I think is a bunch of common drill and tap data into the tool setup in Onecnc MillXPert. I also tweaked the nominal chiploads up to what I think is decent. I've zipped the four files together since they are all shown as being modified at the same time stamp, although I think all you would need to use would be the one called ncTools_inch.bin There are three additional files that store some other user data: ncCustoms.bin ncMaterials_inch.bin ncGlobal_inch.bin Anyways, if you want to try this out, just back up your original files somewhere in case it doesn't work as you like, and you want to go back to what you had. Disclaimer: the accuracy of the drill data is not guaranteed, but I did check it quite carefully. Please confirm whether the tool data you select is correct before jumping to conclusions and assuming it is correct.

| Hi Mark, First archive your original copy of the file(s) as found in your Mill expert/ setting folder. Then, just place the files from the zip archive (unzipped) in there. This should work, at least it does on the two systems I am trying to keep in sync here. If you have trouble, let me know.

| Shameless bump! Here let me help you up. I haven't down loaded the file... YET. I guess I,m so set in my ways, that I have been using the figures that I entered into the tool manager and material manager back when I first got Mill pro 2000. But had I not spent all the time to do that, I sure would be taking a look at the file.

| Hi KingKong, It must be nice to have only the one system to deal with. Although I did set up my drill and tap info with metric tap equivalents, it is as you say, inch based. If you or anyone else has a laid out a nice metric tool crib, how about sharing the files?

My tool-collection in mm as attach. Please pay attention: its for the onecnc2000-edition cause the new xp's are not in german yet. Backup your files before you install! Kingkong |
