Changing feeds & speeds without recalculating

    Hi guys,

When I "Edit Toolpath", and change only the feed or speed, it still wants to
re-calculate the whole toolpath, even though there's should be no change. This wouldn't be so bad, but I have to go back and adjust the feed/speed on every one of the more than 50 operations on this file, and some of them take a minute to re-calculate.

Is there a way to change the feed and speed of an operation, without re-calculation.

    thanks

    Swiss

In a word, no, you have to put up with the process recalculation. To some extent, the logic used has improved in XR2 which reduces this calculation time by something like 50% (or maybe that is time required to post). But, thus far, no change such as you inquired about has been made.

oh, that's a shame. It would be really great if One CNC could do that. I'm sure it would be hardly any effort to implement, and should make the users happier.

Is it possible to suggest this to the developers ?

    thanks again

Sure you can make suggestions. Just register in the OneCNC Users Club that you can find a link to on this page:

Lots of good stuff for you to dig into over there
