Well, I just ordered XR2, and the 4th axis!

    Good day gentlemen.

This is my second post on this forum.
I will probably be asking a bunch of N00B Onecnc questions.
I just purchased XR2, and the 4th axis module, so I will need some help.
    (Hope you don't mind)
Thanks to all who helped me with the decision.
I should get it in tomorrow.
    Happy New Year,
    Doug.

    Moto, I bought the expert.
I needed to spend the money b4 uncle sam got it.
I have been using EZcam for the past 10 years! It was/ is a good (but limited and very basic) program. Now I just need to finds lots of *new* work to use the new 3-d capability.
Don't feel bad about the 4th axis module...I don't even have a full 4th yet. I just have positioning. The full 4th will come with a new machine early next year. Well, I hope it will anyway.

Ken, I did already register. I was just drooling over "The Bull's" shop. (WOW!)

    Thanks guys.
I am, like a kid on Christmas...I want to play with my new toy!
It should be here tomorrow morning, but my new and improved work station will not make it until 1/5/06
So I will have to use my old inferior computer until then

    Cheers!

    Doug.

    Finally,

Someone else who uses EZcam! I've been using it since mid 80ies.
Do mostly 2-1/2d though, but there are 3d capabilities with it. I've done some 3d and once you get the basics of creating surfaces and blending it works pretty well!

What level EZcam and what Version are you runnin!
