    Question computer memory

    Hi guys
    can anyone help. I have just started running onecnc professional and its great. My problem is when I ask it to produce the machine prog it often crashes the computer, one of the know it alls here tells me that the computer needs more memory. my question is what is the minimum requirement, and what is the minimum to run it well???

    I don't know what the minimum is, but I run XR4 Expert on two laptops, onw with 4GB, and one with 16GB, with no issues. Though the 16GB machine runs circles around the lesser one, but I think it's due more to the fater processor than the larger memory.

    According to their web site:

    Suggested minimum is a Pentium 4 CPU 4 Gig RAM Min 256 3D NVIDIA graphics card.

    If 4 gig is the minimum, I'd want at least 8.
