Hi wms, it was suppose to be on 2 layers so that is fine. The 4 arcs were meant to be on the YZ plane to sort of show a half cylinder with a boss. see image. This file has been created by a custom program ive done, it looks ok in other cad program. We are looking at purchasing XR4 in near future i was playing around with a few ideas of creating geom to load in. Did it load straight in with no other problems? It is only basic, i dont understand any of the dxf header stuff, it just has the entities section with the line arc data.
    Thanks anyway,
    Keith
