look at spindle drive unit inside control cabinet. check cables. Take care - there is at least one orange optical cable. That's the one causing this alarm, most likely.

check electrical connectors (if they are clean), check if cable is not damaged, squeezed. You can check optical cable echanging between and checking with some light for light transfer. Optical cables are quite sensitive, they broke if bended sharply, if twisted or squeezed.

To check the Orange Optical leads to see if they are Ok or not... Hold one end up to a light source and look at the other end. You should see a point of light if the cable is not broken. No light if the cable is broken.
Algirdas is correct, bend the cable too much and you will break it.
    Be gentle with them.

Look in the Electrical cabinet. DANGER! if you are not real sure... keep out! There should be no Exposed Live points... but you never know!
You need to look for some ORANGE colored cables around 1-2mm in diameter.
Treat the cables carefully as they are not exactly robust, if you bend them tighter than around the 50-60mm radius mark you risk fracturing the internal fibre optic core.
Be gentle when trying to unplug the cable, only hold onto the plug assy.

Good luck. do not mean to frighten you, but if you are unsure do not try this.
I have said in other posts that if you are not qualified to do electrical work, that it may well be illegal to do so, depending on your local OH&S laws etc...

Remember fiddling around inside the electrical enclosure can be dangerous.

    Brian.
