Chuck switches on the end of the actuator need to be adjusted or you need to put a part in it. It's not seeing the clamp signal from the switches.

1st - What type of control do you have? Will be located under the electrical disconnect.

I have a stupid question...Is the machine phased correctly? Is there any pressure at the Hyd. unit at all? Also remember that when the chuck "misfires" you will need to reset before trying again.

ya it is hooked up correctly... i got it hooked up to the same transformer as my okuma mill.. no it looks like there isnt pressure in the tank... the guage is reading zero.. this machine sat for a few years before i fired it up again..

I believe OkumaWiz has it. If it isn't phased correctly the hydraulic pump will run backwards.

i checked everything and the lathe has to be pahsed correctly... it is hooked up exactly the same way as my cadet mill... the only difference is that i dont have an earth ground for the lathe... would that be the problem?

ok heres something... if i turn the machine on and let it sit for 5 min i get this alarm.. "907 alarm-c lube tank flow 1". p.s all my tanks are full of fluid...

in this pic i noticed that the hose i am pointing to has fluid that is trying to be pumped up the hose but not making it all the way...

this pic shows the hydraulic unit that isnt getting any pressure according to the guage
