    Okuma 5020M language change

    I have Okuma 5020M,but the controller now is in Japanese could anybody help me to change language to English. Thank you very much

    Are you saying it changed on its own? Or was it like that when you got it used or something? The only way I know how to change it is reload software.

    Agreed. On the 5020 series, a software reload is required. FYI the keys are laid out the same no matter what language they are in, so if you are used to another Okuma with an english control, you can use that as a guide successfully until your software arrives. (ie: F4-EDIT in edit mode will be F4 no matter the language lable).
