What control does it have ?

Buy me a Beer?

Ok, the simplest one is thru the user variables
it will take the current value in "VC1" and "VC2" and add 4 to each of those values at the end of cycle
Note--
you should set VC1 to zero, at the start of shift
and you set VC2 to zero at the start of the job
this gives VC1 as a daily count and VC2 would be a total count

Code:
M5
M9
G30 P1
VC1=VC1+4
VC2=VC2+4
M30
%

To find your common variables go to your parameter page and item down/up till you see a page called common variables.In this screen,you will probrably see 100 of them unless the software was upgraded at time of purchase.I have 400 of them on my MA-500.For me this is the best way I have found to keep count.The example before of VC4=VC4+4 will work.You can use any common variable number you choose though.VC1=VC1+4....VC50=VC50+4....
Let me know if you got it to work!!!!

Thanks Okuman. I know where to find the variables but throughout my career I've never actually programmed with variables or written macros.

I understand the commands if I read them but through lack of exposure I wouldn't know where to apply them if I wanted them to work for me.
