I have okuma 4020 and I am getting

2262 Alarm B: Data word: spec code 4

whenever i use G43 or G44 command.

can this be fixed through parameter changes or anything

or do I have to call for a repair...?

Can you post the section of code so we can see it being used ?

It may be how it is used
Is this for 3D cutter comp. ?

G43 & G44 are for 3D cutter comp. on your machine. The alarm you are getting indicates that you do not have that option (specification) on your machine. The only ways around it are to order the option or have a CAD/CAM system generate the tool paths to feed to your machine.

I think the second option is usually the better one, and may be more economical in the long run since they usually can look ahead further and perform more complicated 3D surfaces without fault.

Just my 2 cents worth...
