| Is this warning appearing while you "Dry Run" ? at maximum rate ? and if feedrate over-ride is above 100% ? It should not stop the machine, but it is telling you that the maximum rapid rate in G01 mode that the machine is set to 40 "/min, While in dry run, especially in a drill cycle the fast retracts between pecks is, say, 2x the rapid rate, the machine is saying " don't do 80"/min, reconfigure it to 40"/min You should not get this warning in normal auto operation when everything is set to 100% but put the feedrate over-ride to 110% then this warning will appear Mainly used as a safety feature, to protect the machine and could be altered to suit a particular part to slow down the fast retracts when peck or deep hole drilling and it is adjustable NC Optional Parameters ( Long Word) #10 Last edited by Superman; 06-10-2009 at 10:44 PM. |

| Are you actually trying to feed G1 when you should be using rapid G0? Another possibility is if you switch to G95 IPR from G94 IPM Without changing the feedrate. Other than that, change the parameter Superman talks about. I've fed @over 100 IPM in both modes without alarms. |
