| Do any of you guys or gails know how to clamp the rapids for this control, using the parameters so it can't be changed by the operator. I know this is a strange request but I just want to nock it down about 25%. Scott. |

On some of the older 700M controls you could adjust both the jog and the rapid feedrates. Check in the system parameters and look for the rapid parameter - you may have to page down (not item down) to find it. Locate the number and set it to 25% of it's current value. You may want to write it down first so that you can go back to it later. Just out of curiosity, why would you want to slow it down...most people want to know how to speed them up and make more money! |
