Hi all, The firm I work for is interested in clearing out some old used machines... We have two (2) OLD Okuma LSN-10 lathes with OSP2200 controls. I believe the hyraulic power packs are still hanging around somewhere for the lathes also. It has many years since the lathes were taken out of production, but they were damn fine machines still! If any one is interested in making a offer or anything to do with them I will endevour to get some photos together of them. They will be sold off for scrap metal value otherwise, which seems a real shame. I am unsure what manuals and control tapes are still around for them, but with a bit of scratching around you never know what might turn up! THe machines are located in South Western Australia. Please feel free to ask any question about them and I will endevour to get answers for you. Regards Brian.

Hi Greg, Working from memory here... I seem to recall the machines had a turning capacity of approx 1500mm between centres and a swing over the saddle of approx 150mm. Not real sure of this tho! The machines have been stored in a hangar for about 8 years now, so would be needing a fair bit of cleanup to get them going again. The machines have a 6V rear turret configuration suitable for 25mm square shank tools. The front turret is a H4 configuration, 25mm centre height also. As they have been stored for so long, I would be real impressed if it was all plugged back together again and it worked straight up! Will get some photos over the next few days. Regards Brian.

OLD LSN10 Photos at last! Hello Everyone, Have finally managed to get out and take some photos of these old girls! To say that these are in a sad way is a bit of an understatement! I had not realised that they were so poorly stored! Anyway some one might be brave enough to try and resurrect one machine from two! See what you reckon! Cheers Brian.
